Elizabeth 'Lizard' Cashin is traveling to Iceland in August 2017 with the Challenge Aspen Marathon Team to run the 2017 Reykjavik Marathon in full support of Challenge Aspen!

What is my connection to Challenge Aspen? 

'Making possibilities for people with disabilities' describes a cause that resonates deep within me; a family tragedy early in my childhood left my older brother, Padraic, a paraplegic. Through courage, determination and family support, Padraic has proven time and time again he does not see boundaries and does not understand the meaning of the word 'no'.

With Padraic as my constant guide, I attempt to embody the Challenge Aspen mission every single day. It is my hope that by fundraising for Challenge Aspen I will be able to help empower others to live their lives to the fullest extent, no matter their situation.

The Challenge Aspen Marathon Team runs a marathon each year to help fund scholarships, adaptive equipment and programming for Challenge Aspen. This year we're headed to exotic Reykjavik, Iceland!

All racers have committed to fundraise $3,950 each for Challenge Aspen programs (donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law).  Thank you for supporting Challenge Aspen and making possibilities for people with disabilities!
