Hi Everyone,
I am on a Viking Quest to raise $2500 for Challenge Aspen by running a half marathon with the Challenge Aspen marathon team in Reykjavik, Iceland this August.
Challenge Aspen is a local nonprofit based in Snowmass Village that provides programs, scholarships, adaptive equipment, and advocacy for people with disabilities. We see them on the ski hill all the time - blind people skiing, military veterans in sit skis, very inspiring!
Thanks to Challenge Aspen and an intensely dedicated volunteer staff and board of directors, over 400 participants per year with physical and mental challenges now have access to recreational sports like downhill and cross-country skiing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, swimming, gymnastics, hiking and fishing.

the 2017 Reykjavik Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K Events – August 19, 2017!
The Challenge Aspen Marathon Team runs a marathon each year to help fund scholarships, adaptive equipment and programming for Challenge Aspen. This year we're headed to exotic Reykjavik, Iceland!
All racers have committed to fundraise $3,950 each for Challenge Aspen programs (donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law). Thank you for supporting Challenge Aspen and making possibilities for people with disabilities!
