Hi!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the 2017 Challenge Aspen marathon. When I turned 29 this past September, I created my 30x30--a list of 30 things I wanted to accomplish during the last year of my 20s. Wouldn't you know it, running my first marathon and visiting a new country both made the list. So when I learned that Challenge Aspen had selected the Reykjavik marathon for its annual marathon fundraiser, I knew I could not let the opportunity pass me by. Not only could I check two items off my 30x30 list, but I could also raise money for a good cause at the same time.

For those who are not familiar with the organization, Challenge Aspen is a nonprofit organization located in Snowmass, Colorado. Challenge Aspen's mission is to provide those with physical and other challenges the opportunity to experience recreational sports like downhill and cross-country skiing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, swimming, gymnastics, hiking, and fishing. To participate in the Reykjavik marathon, I need to raise $3,950. All of that money goes to Challenge Aspen to cover the costs of the event, support its programs, and give others the opportunity to experience the recreational opportunities that the Roaring Fork Valley has to offer. Any donation you may make is tax deductible. I appreciate your helping me achieve my goals and supporting a worthwhile organization in the process. The Challenge Aspen Marathon Team runs a marathon each year to help fund scholarships, adaptive equipment and programming for Challenge Aspen. This year we're headed to exotic Reykjavik, Iceland!

All racers have committed to fundraise $3,950 each for Challenge Aspen programs (donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law).  Thank you for supporting Challenge Aspen and making possibilities for people with disabilities!
