ONE week out from Croatia!

Dear Friends and Family,
I'm excited to announce that I am coming out of ultra running "retirement" to raise money for an amazing local, non-profit, Challenge Aspen. This year, the 2019 Challenge Aspen Trail Marathon team is heading to Omis, Croatia to run the Dalmatia Ultra Trail Race, October 19, 2019! So, of course I signed up!
Challenge Aspen provides outdoor adaptive experiences for people faced with cognative and or physical disabilities. The incredible staff, volunteers and instructors help create life-changing opportunities for the participants by encouraging participation in activities designed to redfine limits, recognize abilities, and transfer newfound courage to everyday life.
As I embark on a new decade in my life I am more motivated than ever! I want to create an impact, pursue my passions with gratitude and give back to our community and the world. I hope to pass this spirit of giving on to my two teenage daughters, leading by example. Encouraging them to follow their dreams, work hard, and most importantly, give back.
It's an honor to participate with an organization that does so much outreach for so many people overcoming adversity. I'm thrilled to combine my love for running ultras and giving support to those who need it.
Donating to Challenge Aspen will provide scholarships, adaptive equipment, training, mentorship and advocacy for our heroes. Any donation is significant and helps support our mission.
