Challenge Aspen is focused on creating life changing opportunities for those with physical and/or cognitive disabilities by providing diverse opportunities for individuals and groups to explore the outdoor recreation that the Roaring Fork Valley has to offer.
Volunteering for Challenge Aspen has been a highlight of my time spent here in Aspen, CO. I have the pleasure of serving as an adaptive snowboard instructor, along with helping at fundraising events.
It’s amazing to witness the ways in which the Challenge Aspen community has an impact on the lives of those involved- including those who participate in the programming and also the staff and volunteers who create a welcoming and supportive environment!
We are headed to Verbania, Italy to participate in the Ultra Trail Lago Maggiore race series on October 1, 2022! Excited to run alongside this amazing team whose values align with the Challenge Aspen mission- encourage participation in activities designed to redefine limits, recognize abilities, and transfer newfound courage to everyday life:)
