Hello!
I have made the commitment and joined the 2022 Challenge Aspen trail running and fundraising team. The "Sole Mates" are headed to Verbania, Italy to participate in the Ultra Trail Lago Maggiore race series October 1, 2022!
I am running and fundraising for this amazing organization and need your help.
Challenge Aspen provides year-round adaptive experiences for individuals faced with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Our incredible staff, volunteers and instructors help to create life-changing opportunities for our participants by encouraging participation in activities designed to redefine limits, recognize abilities, and transfer newfound courage to everyday life.
Over the last couple of years I have found myself getting more and more involved with Challenge Aspen thanks to volunteer opportunities in both the summer and winter as well as monetary donations. I have been able to personally see how this organization changes lives through creating opportunities for people with disabilities. I have volunteered on the slopes alongside skilled adaptive ski and snowboarding instructors, paddle boarded around lakes, and even gone bowling with Challenge Aspen participants and other volunteers. The happiness and joy that I see amongst participants during these different outdoor recreational activities will never cease to bring a smile to my face.
I am asking you to please consider a donation to Challenge Aspen's programs. Your donation will help provide scholarships, adaptive equipment, training, mentorship, and advocacy for these heroes. Any donation is a significant one, and helps support the mission.
